I had two **** marys that were good. had an breakfast burrito, that was very good, kartoffels are great. they use real eggs and do not use cheap brot for toast. I will be back and recommend
Pretty cozy lil joint. Not huge by any means but the atmosphere is large. The bartenders were all super attentive and promt, even though they had a packed house. The kitchen was Hella popping, and the food was actually good for a lil bar. All in all, I'd give this lil spot a solid 9/10, and would definitely recommend it to my friends.
We stopped in here to try their **** marys after riding our bikes from Longley and Rock along the Tahoe pyramid bike trail. The **** marys were well made, decent amount of spices and horseradish, plus pickled asparagus, an olive and a crispy slice of bacon. We were able to lock our bikes up right in front of the bar so we had a seat that was looking out and that made it easier to relax while enjoying people watching.
Although food is served here, this is a bar. Don't expect quality, speedy food service, or a great dining experience. Your server is actually the bartender. So you'll be waiting a while. The menu is highly misleading as they throw in all kinds of things in your food besides what was on the menu. I ordered a simple chicken burrito with no beans, and no tomatoes. It had beans, tomatoes, peas, corn, and it was drowning in a strange tasting sauce. I sent it back, and asked for chicken strips instead. Can't mess that up right? Nope. Undercooked. We may stop in for a cider, but as far as eating at this newly purchased business, we would have to be desperate.
Another hidden gem, right in the eye! I mean, avocado frits with yum-yum sauce?! really! and the wing sauce selection:
