I believe at one point they had dine-in prior to COVID but for now there is no dine-in and you order from the side door and eat in your car or take it home. I 'm not familiar with many hot fried chicken places around here so wanted to give this place a try and it didn 't let down. Not the most amazing chicken sandwiches I 've had but for the options and variety I enjoyed it. You can get the single chicken sandwich (big one) or 2 of the chicken tender sandwiches for the same price. I opted for one spicy and one regular chicken tender sandwich and both were good with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Honestly it 's just me but if I 'm craving a chicken sandwich I don 't want to spend half the meal eating through the chicken tender before I touch the bread, I 'll just get chicken tenders at that point (Sue me). On a side note: I am not very spicy tolerant and the spicy chicken tender sandwich was very tolerable for me, like almost non-existent which was surprising. Not sure if the normal spicy is like that or to up there flavor you really gotta request some heat. All in all it 's a decent hot chicken place with other options to choose from and I didn 't leave disappointed.
Currently this is literally a hole in the wall as they do not have indoor seating at all. Luckily they do have a large parking lot. Yummy Meats Deli has some of the best fried chicken I have had. The batter is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken sandwiches don't mess around. The bun covers half of the chicken breast. I love spice and the medium heat was perfect for me. I can't wait to come back here!
So this place for all intents and purposes, a fantastic hole in the wall spot. The family who runs the restaurant are charming folk, the food is cooked with care and love, and there's a bit of a pop-up flair to it. The hours might drive you crazy (a few time I've shown up to the unfortunately news that they closed early). The hottest levels are just a bit insane/fun. I love that they are playing with the menu options almost weekly. The fact they rotate items in means that the kitchen is alive and adapting. I can't help but love the chicken and the people. I really look forward to trying their jianbing and have enjoyed almost every item that has graced their ever changing menu.
OMG!! Worth the drive!!! Drove down from Seattle on a saturday afternoon before heading over to ikea. Absolutely worth the stop!!! chicken was fresh and hot! Wasn't too spicy. coleslaw was the perfect combo on the sandwiches! YUMMM!!!! NOTE: Tender sandwich is the smaller version of sandwiches. I wish i would have known beforehand. Sooo yummy!
I am sad. First, I could have sworn I wrote a review before but guess I had not. If I had, I would be changing it. What was once five star worthy is barely a two. I work about a block away from here and have gone several times including today. The chicken sandwich used to be amazing, today it was a let down. While I hope they were just having an off day, not sure I will find out. They have changed their menu so I wonder if they changed owners too? The chicken wasn't as good, almost tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The previous time I went, it took almost 20 minutes to get our order, which is fine because it was totally worth it. Today it was out in just a couple minutes, which makes me suspicious. The coleslaw on the sandwich today was not as good and certainly less of it. No more red onion, just cabbage and sauce. I also didn't get the dipping sauce because I forgot. They could have totally increased my bill with some suggestive selling; Fries, sides, dips, etc. I did order the onion pancake, which was delicious. That's the only reason they didn't get a one star. I would recommend that for sure.
