Gorgeous place , my first time visiting. Food was lovely definitely go there again. Didn't know how I felt eating around dogs. As its a dog friendly pub but overall welcoming atmosphere.
Came in on Thursday night and had a great time, staff were lovely knew how to have a laugh, always nice to see different beer on that ain't seen anywhere else in town. Will be back again for more banter
Very characterful old building. Just went in for a drink but the food looked and smelled amazing.
Brilliant fish n chips with mushy peas. The Thai veggie curry was just perfect mount of spice. Really generous helpings, we split 3 dishes among 4 people. Our server was super kind. Such a thrill to eat in the place also know as King Richard III’s house in the 1400s. Richard III is known as the last of the Plantagenets and his death at Bosworth in 1485 marked the end of the Wars of the Roses Def recommend making a booking.
