We had soup with sourdough bread, which was really good! Update: we went back the following day and had the salmon and lamb. We can really recommend places. Surprisingly affordable also!
The location is wonderful, one of the oldest buildings in Reykjavik with many old pictures from the city. The menu is concise, but also sorted with vegan options. The food was absolutely fantastic, well complimented flavors and colors, you can say that they really dedication and thought in any item to make the dishes. Portions were generous and really expensive. Good selection of wines.
Beautiful atmosphere in a quirky small café in a beautiful old theatre. The coffee and the apple cake were delicious. The Icelandic meat soup was beautifully perfect to warm you up in the snow after a walk around the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very recommended.
Stopped in for lunch and was blown a, this was a great surprise. way. I had a hamburger and my wife roast beef on toast. As she said, I don 't know the rest of the menu items were, but this one was fabulous. The same can be said for my burger. After 3 weeks on the road in Europe, this was an especially pleasant surprise. Hello Iceland!
