I had explained to the waitress that I have a dairy intolerance so could she please put it on the side which she happily agreed to. The plate came with the feta mixed in with the cheese as described on the menu and when we explained to the waitress she just said sorry she forgot to put the note on it (nor did she even offer to make us a fresh plate). We didn’t make a fuss as at the very least we expected it to be removed from the bill as we couldn’t eat it or maybe a complimentary drink or some small token of acknowledgement would be offered but no, our bill arrived totalling €170 for 2 gin and tonics, a peppermint tea and 5 tapas share plates with the €20 cheese carrots still on the bill. We paid and left with a very bitter taste in our mouth. It was the only restaurant during our trip where we felt the prices and level of service just didn’t add up.
Great food, amazing vegetarian options, tables were a bit close together and resturant was really crowded but the waiter took really good care of us and kept us smiling and laughing the entire night, food was a bit expensive but it was really worth it in the end
Wow!!!! My sister's and I wanted a very special meal to celebrate my 60th birthday and this place was pure perfection!! The atmosphere, the drinks and the food was off the charts delicious!!! If you want to spend a little more money on an incredible meal, this is your place. We started off with the pita and hummus.....wow....it was so amazing that we ordered another order of it! We had Wolf fish, which is light, flakey and buttery goodness, lamb in an incredible sauce, and cauliflower in another yummy sauce. We decided to share the three entrees ....it was a wise decision!
Super nice dinner in downtown Reykjavik! I think we saw it even had a Michelin rating. Get the seven course dinner, well worth it.
Had a delicious dinner here recommend the goat cigars. Delightful and opinionated server (which I appreciate). Introduced us to some excellent Lebanese wine.
