Carver's Steakhouse & Lounge - Richmond

For a few years I wanted to try carvers. what an unfortunate choice. Friday evening my husband went to eat. the service was terrible! when we were served, we had said more minutes and we're gone! important to say there server and they watched the basketball game in the lounge! each away finally ordered and were brought into thin slices brot. when we were asked for more, we were told that we would take two more discs if very dry brot! when the food finally arrived, it was very nicely plated, but the kartomas were very cold, we sent them back and hot were provided. the steak they served was more than half fat! the salmon was beautifully made, but a very small portion. during dinner we had to order an ounce and ounce glasses of wine. we were accused of being unfit. we have requested our bill and they did not bring it back, the personal was all watching the basketball game in the lounge. So we went to them and was presented a bill when I told the manager, it was the worst meal and service we have ever received for the height of the bill. he apologised and reduced the bill by the restaurant lacked in the atmosphere and was certainly decor. it was like getting back to the containment zone. we do not recommend this restaurant- spend their hard earned money somewhere else!

Incredibly poor service for a high-end steakhouse. server was less than helpful in choosing a wee and did not seem to know that the difference between a grim and a gris. I ordered a caesar salad and seafood chowder, with us all...a cäsar and demand that the other objects be brought later. my chowder came before I finished the salat, so the server tried to press it on the table next to my incomplete salat. terrible! eating was good, but I would never go back to carvers. the management seemed to be unaffected with our complaining about the service.

After a long day, they hoped to relax over a glass of wine and seafood. during the service was prompt, was said that I had to order quickly as there were large groups and I would not get a service. that was eating. flew to me. the server complained about serving large groups, because the kitchen is not equipped as it is a more beautiful it area. scallops were great!

I had the garnel and skallops. the garnels were delicious, but the scallops were beyond that beyond.

We were staying at another hotel that did not have a restaurant so walked to this one. Not a lot of variety if you don't want a fancy meal. We had hamburgers which tasted good, however we got a shock when we went to pay....After we had eaten our meal and had drinks, we were told they didn't have debit or credit available at that time and we had to either charge to our room( we weren't staying there, so not an option) or pay cash. If we had been told this before we ordered we would have found another place to eat as we did not have much cash with us. We ended up paying with American cash which we didn't want to use due to exchange rate.
