Admittedly I have only had one meal at this Vancouver airport food court place, but the experience was seriously off putting and I would not repeat it. I also had difficulty making myself understood to the person taking the order. Overall an unpleasant experience which is a pity as I love Vietnamese cuisine.
It was delicious. I had the seafood Pho, which had squid and shrimp in the beef soup and Pho noodles. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the hot sauce. The server was very polite and patient in answering my questions and quick to put my order together.
We ordered the broken rice with deep fried grilled pork chop, beef with rice vermicelli noodle soup and deep fried spring rolls. Broken rice tasted great with the well done pork chop. Authentic for a franchise. The noodle dish broth was lacking in full flavor. It had aroma but tasted like can broth vs broth boiled with bones and simmered for 6 hours then allowed to cool. This intensifies flavor. Spring rolls were okay. 6/10 for the rolls.
A classic example of Vietnamese cuisine. For the most part the food arrived piping hot and was quite flavorful. To be fair it was getting close to 11PM when most concessions close with the exception of Wendy's which remains open 24/7.
I think this place is more like Vietnamese than Thai.anyhow I ordered rare beef noodle soup and it has good amount of beef not so on the noodles.
