The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. We had a great time celebrating and will definitely be back again soon!
The restaurant has a pleasant interior and the service was good, but I felt it was more expensive than necessary.
I tried this restaurant for the first time because I happened to be in the neighborhood. I ordered a wrap to take away.
Went on a Friday night with friends/family. Here is why I didn't give 5 stars. Was a bit miffed as I spent over thirty mins circling the big parking lot and even the gravel overflow lot further down, trying to find a spot to park. Found out the restaurant did have another overflow parking lot right across the street but no signs at all indicating exactly where the spot was. Finally I found it. It's up a "private" driveway (smack dab in the middle of the two entrances/exits of Country Meadows Golf Club) across the street, and would have to hang a right turn onto the grassy field. The overflow lot is totally obscured from #6 Rd and not lit at all. There is a slight opening (in the middle) among the bushes that leads to a little bridge that leads to the road, and it's directly across from the front gates of Country Meadows. I had parked closer to the driveway itself and had to walk further along than if I parked closer to the little bridge. Semi dangerous and I would know to park closer to the opening if I ever had to use the other side of the road overflow parking lot again. Other than that, their prime rib dinner had always been our main reason to dine here. They were always generous with assorted vegetables as accompaniments with the prime rib, not anymore, only mashed potato and some asparagus now. Sort of disappointed but nevertheless the 10 oz prime rib is still one of the best choices for a delicious entree. Noted that the choice of 8 oz prime rib had also been done away. Another fav was the seafood linguine and yes, still yummy. An "extra bonus" was the pianist that played so beautifully all night. Peter played all our favourites tunes and even had a very famous old Asian song on his playlist. Very impressive! In fact he played it twice for us that night as we sang along. We would definitely come back on a Fri or Sat night just to hear him play! What an awesome night! Great food, service and a fabulous bonus of hearing a pianist that knows what his audience likes to hear and does his very best to cater to them!
I visited this restaurant together with my local Richmond friends. They (my friends) were the ones who invited me for dinner. My friends also said that after dinner we can take a stroll on the walkway because this restaurant is beside a golf-course. We were promptly attended and seated by the staff. There were several other diners and they were having a good time eating and talking. I like the ambiance of the restaurant because it reminded me of a Country Club-themed dinner. I ordered NY Steak medium-well. When it arrived I was already looking forward to taking a big bite out of my dinner. Yes, my steak is very delectable and mouth-watering. I finished my meal before i could even say YUMMY! I want to go back again for second and many times but of course I will have to wait for another trip to BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA! See you again Richmond!
