Rosauers Supermarkets - Ridgefield

Kinda pricy for the name brand items and the meat department but you pay for quality and I don't mind since it's close to home.

How to shop at Rosauers: walk up to the front door, set two twenty dollar bills on fire on the pavement, then drive down to Winco. You’ll still come out ahead.You’ll get better produce and other goods at a massively lower price. Just atrocious. Plus attentive shoppers will notice they cannot retain employees.People raving about their “bakery” are going to, unfortunately, face the threat of diabetes. It’s mostly sugary Midwest type stuff, with little in the way of good wholesome breads.Sad.ETA: Costco is coming for Rosauers in Ridgefield. LOL. I give Rosauers two years max after Costco opens. Probably not that long maybe.ETA again: interested shoppers might Google search for “Department of Labor press release” and “Rosauers.” Rosauers has been engaging in wage theft and the illegal use of child labor. This is a fact Rosauers has admitted to with its settlement with DOL. I’m not begrudging someone dropping in for a quart of milk, but by this point there are likely dozens of ex-employees in the community who could tell one how they were treated. This firm is scum.

Beautiful and super clean store. Great selection and wonderful plant section. The only downside is it’s also pretty pricey. Multiple employees offered to help me look for items. There was plenty of parking that was easy to access. Like most stores, shopping bags are available for a small fee. I look forward to my next visit!

I like this for a local grocery store. They have pretty good overall selection. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. The butcher selection could be a bit better, and if you ask for paper bags, they tend to overfill them without double-bagging. I'm definitely glad to have them close by.

Thumbs down. It 's beyond my understanding how this place has 4 stars. It 's super pricey, not a great selection of products and seems like they are always in need of re-stocking the few good items that sometimes you may find. I live so close to it but still choose to drive far to get better groceries. (and much better priced, for the SAME EXACT ITEMS! , unless it 's an absolute emergency. I have to say the Bakery is GREAT!, BUT that 's about it. Luckily Costco is coming. I foresee this grocery store will eventually change ownership and become another brand.
