Capitol Deli - Rifle

We recently visited this restaurant for the second time (the first being during COVID) while traveling through Rifle. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. Vickie and her team were fantastic, and I am thrilled that they were able to overcome the economic challenges of the pandemic. If you find yourself in Rifle, make sure to stop by and try their food - you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I have tried nearly everything on the menu, but my favorite dishes are the Cobb salad, gyro, and broasted chicken. The staff is fantastic and provides excellent service. And don't even get me started on the delicious cheesecake!

This charming restaurant had great food that was served quickly. However, the highlight of the experience was the exceptional customer service from a young woman named Pyper. She was attentive and caring, exceeding expectations. I wish I could have her working for me!

We went here today on the way through Rifle. We?d been on a long drive and were very hungry and in a bit of a daze. Initially we ordered takeout but realised we needed to eat before setting off on the rest of the journey as we had a way to go. So we asked if we could eat on their covered veranda instead. The woman serving us (sorry I didn?t get her name) was so friendly, kind and patient with us confused English folk. The food was homemade and delicious. It?s immaculate and the decor is cute. The place is straight off the main road with its own parking so if you are passing through Rifle you absolutely must stop here! Thank you so much we really appreciated the warm hospitality.

Good service and good food. They do add a fee if you use a credit card which was surprising. Make sure you bring cash if you don't want to pay the fee.
