It used to be one of the favorite place to go. But the last time we've been here was a total disaster. We ordered vegan pizza and vegetable noodles. There was way too much cheese on the pizza. And it was covered with a lot of badly chopped tomatoes, which made it look like someone accidently dropped a bowl of salad on it. As for the vegetable noodles, there was so much ketchup that it was the only thing you could taste.
You can order fallafel or tofu burger with fries or salad. They are tasty but tofu or fallafel is not so good. Also bread tastes quite like from McDonald as I can remember... Pizza I ordered was very bad.
We found this by accident, because we were looking for a comfortable place to have a drink later in the evening. We were surprised to find such an unpretentious place in this part of Rīga. The menu sounded okay and they also have tap beer, a clear plus. Not so nice: we had to go inside after 10pm; a pity, because the relatively quiet alley and the warm night invited to stay outside a little longer. But it turned out to be quite nice inside, too: There was really good music playing there, a mix between proto pop, kraut and psychedelic rock/pop on the more accessible side, a marriage of Garbanotas and Klaus Johann Grobe. Can’t say too much about the vegan food. I just had decent potato wedges with kecūps along with my beers and they were hot and crispy and all in all very affordable for that part of the city.
Love the pizza and burger. location in the historic center. love the atmosphere.
