Oh that wow... my boyfriend and I went there (he's Brazilian) and we loved...I was so proud to make him discover this Quebec cuisine. Madame St-pierre's menu reveals her talent and enthusiasm to make us discover Quebec. A big BRAVO
Great disappointment. Maybe we should prefer the canteen? While the restaurant was not yet full, after having invited us to sit at a table of four people promising that the missing chair for the fifth guest would arrive quickly, we seem to have forgotten. Assuring music we have to change our minds after a quarter of an hour of waiting standing. The most excellent ones convinced us to take everything to take. Problem, for $40 per person before taxes and service, portions were very modest. As modest as in the hostel at the gastronomic restaurant of the city where prices were significantly less important. A small salad mixing fresh/ crunchy cucumbers and spoiled pickles because the brine of the pickles had imbibed the rest creating an impossible set to distinguish. Only the portions of focaccia were substantial (three pieces per person), but at $40 for three pieces of bread and a small salad, it simply does not seem worth it.
Best culinary experience I have ever had. Do yourself a favour and get the drinks pairing with your menu. Definitely worth every single dollar. The fresh local ingredients, the service, the ambiance, everything is simply perfect.
Always a pleasure to enjoy the canteen. The dove is often present, it is charming and very funny. food is succulent. Very (too generous) portions. I advise to share
