Pancho's Bar - Río Bravo

This is a large bar in a local store. We had these on our list since our first visit to Nuevo Progresso. Finally, we decided to wait in the line to get space. It is not long waiting as this is a big bar. It has live music and even a dance floor that is well used by its males. We loved the atmosphere. Certainly worthy of 5 stars for atmosphere and romantic attraction. The service was slow and immaculate. Long waiting times between visits and even an extended waiting for our invoice even after we had asked him to do so. Service is the worst we have experienced in Mexico. 2 stars worthy. Food was also well below expectations. Think about bad bar food. We had the special of the day Red Snapper Fish and Tacquitos. The rolled tacos were unpredictable. The fish was super thin and dried and tasteless. We enjoyed the Spanish peanuts they delivered while we waited for food, but this is where the goodness of the food stand point ends. Prices were cheap for bad foods, so we will give them 3 stars for value. Overall, we would give this place a 3.3 star rating. It was our worst yet dining area in Nuevo Progresso. It is worth a stop when you can sit at the bar and have a drink and watch the activity. Skip the food and get something from the street would be our recommendation.

We had margaritas in the past at Panchos, but this time my wife and I became fatally ill after a drink. We ask ourselves if they have bought ingredients that are included to reduce at cost.

The food was good. The menus are typical TexMex. The restaurant is clean and there is live music. The service is very good.

Great service always cold beer and drinks the food is okay family likes to eat there i like drinking beer and just sitting down and relaxing

Great food, had Tacos, Ionches and Nachos! Went with a group and had a great time. Service was good and music was pleasant.
