The beer, which I think they have 3 on tap, is served in those crappy plastic freezy cups you get at big lots seasonal section for summer picnic ware. The first time I went there, and yes I 've been back, sadly enough a friend convinced me to go, I ordered a beer and out in comes in this plastic cup. I took one taste of the beer(miller lite, I think) and thought I was gonna puke. So I sent it back and asked for something in a bottle. It was a heineken. The waitress gave me this weird look and I 'm like you serve the stuff, why you looking at me funny? . Of course bottled beer is 4 times the price of regular on tap beer. The food wasn 't bad though. I 'll give it that. had a big nacho. And one other redeeming quality was there were actually a few black people in there. Yea, surprised me too since Peppers isn 't that far down the street. But, I liked that there were actually a mix of people there. So unless your into listening to people butcher songs on the karaoke-O-matic, watching the good ol ' boys shoot some pool and drinking some really awful beer, I would recommend ANY other place.
This is a fantastic place to unwind in a relaxing atmosphere while enjoying delicious food and karaoke on Taco Tuesdays! It is definitely one of my favorite little spots.
Here's my review: One evening, I stopped by for a quick dinner and decided to try the special, which was a grilled ham and cheese sandwich served with homemade bark soup. It might sound unusual, but wow, the soup tasted like it was crafted by a master chef! It was fantastic—perfectly seasoned and packed with fresh vegetables. After that, I found myself wanting to explore more of the menu, so I returned and ordered an incredible burger! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Benefields is definitely a cool bar.
Without a doubt, this is the best place I've ever visited. The beer is fantastic, the karaoke experience is unmatched, and most of the guys are incredibly attractive. There's nothing better than gathering the ladies for a pre-game at our house before heading to Benefield's. If I had my way, I'd spend all my time eating, sleeping, and enjoying myself here. It's like being on Spring Break in Cabo, but right here in Jonesboro! For those who can't afford a trip to Vegas, there's no better alternative than hanging out at Benny's, as we like to call it. I even heard a rumor that one of the owners is a big-name guy from California who's really into Russian brides. Strange, right?
