The Preston House - Riverhead

I’ve been to Preston House several times. It’s typically a good experience. This was generally a good experience w two exceptions. We waited for several minutes for a maitre’d to come to the desk to seat us. And I ordered the pork porterhouse medium rare to medium and it came very well done. Otherwise, service and food were good.

Excellent Service, brilliant unusual menu, but very pricey. Excellent strong drinks, delicious fish, wonderful service. great for a special occassion.

The restaurant has a great ambiance that sets the mood for an enjoyable dining experience. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The ingredients used in the dishes are of high quality, resulting in delicious meals with great flavor combinations. The presentations of the dishes are also visually appealing. Overall, it is a restaurant that I highly recommend.

Great hotel to stay in! The front desk people were very welcoming and polite. The room was very spacious, clean, and up to date. The breakfast in the morning was great where the receptionist gave their guests special attention as well. The restaurant food was very good as well. Highly recommend staying here specially if you are visiting the wineries since its only 20min drive from here.
