I really love the curry puffs and Thai fried rice with chicken. It was good. The guy at the take-out window was really nice.
OK, review on just one item and one business practice. So I eat at/from Lemon Grass about once a month. Have been for close to I think 8 years now. I always loved the food until about 1 1/2 years ago. First the som tum used to be papya, green beens, tomato, whole peanuts. Unfortunately peanuts are gone, tomato is sparse, green beens barely existent, and leaf lettuce is abundant. I know there are new owners or maybe the kids/spouses have taken over, but the food was excellent when the older generation ran it. Not even a sawadee... from the lone american tending the empty restaurant at 7:15 pm Friday evening. Speaks volumes, this place used to be fairly busy at that time. Now, after my purchase I researched a bit because I walked in and ordered due to the high delivery fee but the cost of my order was higher than I expected. Lemon Grass is 1 mile from my home. The listed prices on door dash are 20% less (at least on the 3 items I ordered) but come with a $6.99 delivery fee. No door dash pick-up option is available, I found out when I did the research. This seems extremely misleading, perhaps I wouldnt be as disappointed if the food had remained consistent and the pricing wasnt intentionally deceptive.
It didnt taste like it had enough heat added to it. Was very mild in the flavor for being Medium heat.
Curry puffs and Massamun Curry were our favorites. The Pad Thai lacked flavor. Would recommend, just not for pad thai
