L'auberge des Volcans - Roanne

This is the restaurant of the hotel Auberge des volcans d 'Auvergne located 10 r Alfred de Musset in Mably at the border of Riorges, along the 'xe that goes from the round point Mably to Roanne without passing through the 'Autoroute de contounement N7. We stopped for lunch during the week in the sight of a sign on the road. Some Asian competing restaurants compete strongly on call menus. The location of the establishment along a passing axis led us to lunch inside. Cheap day menu with a small entrance buffet. The latter is not much trimmed and very classic. The room is a little dark and a little old, but clean with a little decor with antique and clean objects. The hotel also made cheap hotel (we did not enjoy it). It seems more targeted to a clientele of workers travelling at their expense than to more demanding tourists. The dish of the day, cute net was nevertheless well cooked with a mustard sauce quite correct. Dessert white cheese maker, a little classic. Correct toilet there was no serious paper but it is the small things that make the difference... I'm not sure I'm going back.

Menu of the day without choice, no card in the room, you have to go out to see the formulas outside. We chose a menu of the day to 13 euro with 1/4 of included viin and a formula to 17 euros. The waitress brings us a bottle of 50 cl that we will not finish ...It offers us from office cheese and dessert while it is one or the other in the formula to 17 euro...In the end, we will pay 8 euro the 1/4 extra wine (no big wine but that included in the meal of the day! . We're trying to force consumption... not right without more, we're not going to go back

A salad of the inn at 12 € announced with eggs, crusts and plenty of other ingredients that turns out to be a green salad with one egg, without crusts, two cherry tomatoes and some cheese shavings a whole supermarket sauce. For 12 €! We are told that there is no more sparkling water and a quarter of an hour later, the boss opens a bottle behind the bar... for himself! A cup of insipid coffee (a washbasin) in a very dirty cup! And to finish, we went to pay in front of the car because Mr. and Mrs. They're not close to seeing us. We felt it as a whip of mouth, very expensive for what it is. Very few choices and no card. Chicken or chicken!!!

Other opinions speak of a workers' restaurant. I didn't test her at noon but in half board and in a restaurant with a la carte. Well on small restaurant, so small card but it seems to me that the price is correct, because Arnaud has good products and can even make almost tailor-made.
