Get the enchiladas. I'd never had Salvadoran food before, but this place is super close and on the way home. Prices were reasonable. Take out service was friendly. Kid and I got tamales, pupusas, and enchiladas. The tamal was large and decent with one large chunk of chicken. The pupusas were tasty. I'm glad to have tried the loroco, but not a big fan I preferred the chili pupusa. The standout was the enchiladas. Different and delicious and great texture. Note that this is a totally different restaurant from what was here a year ago, but they've kept the same name. I will eat from here again.
Such good food! Our waiter was super helpful in explaining the food and answering our questions. Great music as well.
Me and my partner decided to stop here this morning for breakfast/brunch. The website that we found looked fantastic and we were pretty excited to try some place new. We walked out beyond disappointed. The menu was completely different then what we had seen online, and unfortunately due to language barriers and the layout of the menu I was unsure as to what I actually ordered. Our food came out on wooden plates, though it’s a cute twist on serving food, makes me weary in the wake of COVID. It took two bits of my food and decided I was done, there was absolutely no seasoning and my eggs were very rubbery. Our check was written on a post it and what was written on the post it was not what was charged to my card. The restaurant needs to update their website and make their menu more reader friendly, and consider language barriers to make this a more customer friendly experience.
The food was awesome! It's so hard to find authentic food without going downtown and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a tiny little place and I think it was the owner who took care of us and also made the food. We will DEFINITELY be back again.
