My partner started crying because eating was good during our meal. the personal was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and professional. they really knew what they were doing, and that wasn't just a stone job for them really loved what they did. it was really refreshing to see this and it made really birthday and vacation of my partner. I would recommend to go to this restaurant and even book a holiday, only for him.

The food was excellent and we can't wait to go back soon. the personal is so beautiful and there is a beautiful atmosphere at the place. If I could give him more the 5 stars, I would.

This is a hidden gem! Gorgeous fine dining set up in a relaxed atmosphere, rural location so best to take a cab if, like us, you want to sample more than one of the extensive wines on the list! They do have parking too. The biodynamic Gruner we had was amazing! The service was perfect, I didn’t catch the name of the gentlemen who looked after us (on Thursday 8 July in the evening) but he made our evening pretty special, talking us through wines (and offering tastings) and generally being attentive throughout. The dining experience was relaxed just how we like it! We ordered a few small plates, then a few more, followed by the most delicious cheese board and a little extra sweet walnut treat was presented to mark our anniversary very sweet! Overall good value for excellent modern British and European food and service, we will be back!

What a lovely place. The food was out of this world. We had the tasting menu which really is very good value. It was the wine and extra drinks which pushed the price up. But such wonderful combinations and tastes. The atmosphere was great. We had a drink before, although the seating for a drink is more suited to couples we were a 4). A place to add to one of those places you would go for a special occasion

We went to the Curlew for dinner and had a fabulous time. They took care of us from the minute we arrived. The little touches, a birthday card for the birthday girl, our name stamped on a tag on the flowers and even hand sealed menus! The feast menu threw up complication with a fish allergy and they were nothing but accommodating. We tried things we would never have ordered, and enjoyed them and the timings between sittings were perfect and gave us time to enjoy! It was an amazing experience and one we will return to if in the area again!
