Young's Korean - Rochester

The food is excellent, though the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. It's a practical dining experience with reasonable prices and very courteous staff. I've never had a disappointing meal here.

The best Korean restaurant in Rochester! Tucked away in an industrial area, Young's provides a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere paired with outstanding food. While our daughters frequent this spot, we decided to give it a try ourselves. We ordered the classic bulgogi, but the standout was definitely a spicy chicken dish (menu item number 6). When we placed our order, they kindly offered to double our sides – like kimchi, tofu, and bean sprouts – as soon as they learned that we loved them. Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious.

I used to go to Seoul Garden, but it gradually declined over time, and I didn't enjoy my meal there in May of this year. I believe it changed ownership. However, this was my first time visiting Youngs, and I'm so glad I did. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is very fast. Although it was a new experience, dinner was pretty good. The food was hot and hot. The complementary distribution of various spits and tofu was unique.

This is by far the best Korean restaurant I have tried in Rochester, NY. Every time, I visit my parents, this is on my list of places to eat at while I am home. I have had the privilege to know the Young family for many years. They both are such hard workers and bring authentic food culture of Sourh Korea to America. Their recipes are true to Korean culture.
