Get better cooks that know how the hell to fry food!!! Cocktail sauces were not even filled enough to eat with my meal. Fries were grease soaked. Batter was gooey in the middle caked on way too much on shrimp. Everything was luke warm! One star on food is even rating too high!
The food was disgusting my daughter got sick not even an hour after eating it. The food had a nasty taste to it like maybe the grease was bad. I do not recommend eating at this location ever.
The only thing that this place suffers from is that nobody thinks to leave a good review for a fast food restaurant. I was shocked today when I looked up to double check the hours (this is one of the few places that you can actually get good food in town past 8:00 p.m. that it had such a low star rating.The store is probably one of the oldest that they have in the fleet. it's owned by one of the largest owners of yum brands type franchises. You can tell that they've done their best to try and put a little remodel into it, it definitely falls under the category of doing the best they can for the market that it exists in. A quick peek into the kitchen from either the dining room or the drive-thru you'll notice that even though it's old, it's well maintained and it's clean for being a type of place that runs on basically all fried food.That being said , this store has always had a great core group of people to work it. I've been coming here under different ownership for literally 40 years. In all 40 of those years, everything here has been incredibly consistent. One time when our town was surrounded by water and they ran out of product because trucks could not reach our town they actually improvised. That's a certain level of care actually not seen by a lot of chain type stores. I occasionally order some unusual combinations, and you can tell the staff actually cares about making sure that I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for.I visit the store at least twice a month, and on All occasions you can tell that the staff works well together and they follow the checklists and protocols to make make the store the best it can be with what they have to work with in our market.
You can't go wrong by going to Rolla's Long John Silver. The staff is outstanding and friendly. The manager, Tammie, has these same traits while ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly. Give them a visit, you won't regret it.
It was all around not a good experience...I was really looking forward to eating there ..cause it had been a minute...I won't go
