Sweet Pickles Café - Rome

This is a great local spot with a great selection of soups and sandwiches! The staff were super friendly!

We love the small town, home-grown appeal of Sweet Pickles. A small menu means a focus, to us. Rotating soups (chicken poblano and wild rice are two of our favorites) and people sitting at the counter, a really great egg salad, and generous cracker portions. We love their hot dogs. I know, simple, but really good with Cole slaw on top.

WOW! What a surprise find this was! Nestled in the historic retail section of Broad Street in Rome is this darling café with the most wonderful people and fabulous food! If you want to experience nostalgia at its finest you don 't want to miss this place! Oh, and did I say they have fabulous food??? Suffice to say, their namesake pickles are out of this world but EVERYTHING, even down to the crackers, are worthy of a satisfying eye roll! If you haven 't tried them yet give 'em a shot! You will NOT be disappointed!

I order from here at least once a week and totally satisfied! The soup of the day is always delicious and I bravely order without even asking what it is and have loved them all. I also highly recommend their chicken salad! It is way better than what is offered at other establishments!
