The Coach At Edenfield - Rossendale

After enjoying a pleasant walk up the hill, we parked our car in the pub's parking lot before returning for a delicious lunch. I would definitely recommend trying the pie, and the fish and chips were freshly made and delicious. The service was outstanding and welcoming to dogs, making it the perfect place for a pitstop during a weekend walk.

Visited on Sunday and arrived just after 6. Had booked a table and was glad we had given it was busy. Nice welcome and good atmosphere. Was served by Emily who was very friendly and efficient. Drinks order placed and received in quick time. We each had a starter and main. Food was obviously freshly made and good quality. Emily checked a few times to see if everything was fine and if we needed more drinks. We will definitely visit again and will try the Sunday roast as it looked fab.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. I had made a reservation for 6:00 pm on a Sunday, but when we arrived, we were informed that several items from the Sunday menu were not available, including roast dinners, cheese and onion pie, cauliflower cheese, and coach burgers. The staff's attitude was nonchalant and they made it seem like it was a favor for us to dine there. We ended up just having drinks and when we asked for the bill, the waitress had a disrespectful attitude towards us. I'm glad we didn't end up eating there, and we definitely won't be returning.

The service and food were really good. We hadn’t planned a visit but we were pleasantly surprised at the standards, we’ll definitely be calling again
