Our family went for an breakfast in the late morning, we were from a window as desired. we had excellent eier benny, and wonderful professional service.
We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner with our family of 4. We all ordered something different and we were all happy with our meals and drinks. The kids especially loved the in-house made ice cream.
The Velvet is a beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately, there is nothing else to brag about. Service was ok, food was below par. Floating in oil, lukewarm at best, and everything tasted the same. My gnocchi was mushy and burnt. This is our second time there and we said after the first time we would never go back. But they advertised a new chef so we thought we would try it again. Twice and done!
We were very excited to feed in the restaurant velvet. we had read great reviews, the hotel presence on the skiberg is five stars. the staff was friendly, but the service was particularly slow. they had no wine selection on camps, main courses were good, but salat desserts were average. because the meal was so slow, we took our dessert to go. I might have sent her back. the environment is fabulous, like the brot. Upscale menu, great ambience presentation. a signed dessert would change this rating to a five stars. oh, and we had a reservation, party of 4, hasn't requested anything on the menu. when you go, prepare to be patient.
