There seemed to be an endless number of options for eis in Rothenburg, but we chose to buy from this place due to high ratings and the Rick Steves approved sign I had two scoops--amaretto and chocolate hazelnut. My husband had chocolate with ginger and...walnut. We both enjoyed ours immensely.

We stopped in because we wanted some warming tea. Some tables had Aperol spritzes so we decided a drink would also be nice. The Campari spritzes were great! Also had sorbet, which was seasonal, handmade, and delicious. They also had a great selection of teas...that were the perfect end. The owners are so friendly, down to earth, and inviting to chat with. We went back because it was so great! Definitely recommended!
