Kid kind. the first time in kalahari. amazing restaurant experience.

First, it was at a resort, peak time, so anything they do is excellent. Food was top notch, service was decently observant, and overall, everything was decent. Definitely worth coming to if one is in the area.

Waited over and hour and half for food. Then they brought the wrong food which we ate because kids were tired and hungry. Then they charged us for food we didn’t even receive.

The service was great! The environment was very comfortable and the pizzas were very good. My boys loved the pizza! I did not like the bolognese as it had little to no flavor, but I’m a bolognese snob and love it when it has a good bold flavor. The sauce wasn’t good either but I managed to eat it all because I was starving. I also wish they’d serve coke products over the blue stuff.

Kudos to Lady Dora (the GM) at Sortino's. We were at Kalahari waterpark and a voice mail was sent around 4:30 PM the day of our reservation informing us that the restaurant's hours had changed and our party of 10 needed to change our 9 PM reservation to an earlier time. Because we were enjoying the waterpark, we did not get the information until 7 PM. Lady Dora, the GM, intervened and told us she would honor our reservation. We had the restaurant to ourselves and we were treated like royalty. Tarkan was our server and he was fabulous. I apologize for not remembering the chef's name because the food was fantastic but he was gracious and came out to introduce himself. We had a spectacular time. Thank you, Lady Dora, Tarkan, and the chef. You three made my birthday GREAT! We will definitely return to Sortino's.
