This is a smart centrally located pub, extended into “Orangery” . Provides great venue for parties. We were lucky to get a table without booking on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. The food and drink choices were reasonable, good service from our waiter and the floor manager. Nothing negative to note, we had a good experience as a family and the potions were very generous (whale and chips!

Visited for lunch today with my wife and 2 dogs. Conner was great, couldn't do enough for us. Service from everyone was great, they bought a water bowl for the dogs without being asked. the food was great and will definitely be going again. All round great experience and surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime so clearly many others think the same.

Visited last week, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The service was great the staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. The food was fantastic a lovely varied menu (found it difficult to pick one dish!! , and reasonable prices. The cocktails were also great a very limited menu, missing some favourites, however, the ones we did choose were very good. Had a nice atmosphere and surrounding cosy feel! Will definitely return in the future, and already looking forward to trying a different dish.

What a hidden gem! We arrived before they began serving, but they kindly let us enjoy the beautiful swing in the sunshine. The staff was amazing—attentive and friendly—and checked on our table throughout our visit. The food took a little while to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The lamb Scotch eggs were the best I've ever had! I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this place.
