Portello Lounge - Rushcliffe

Saturday morning before the early kick off between Forest Derby, large table for upstairs in the window overlooking the avenue, breakfast was quality beer was good with no complaints from our gang Forest silenced the sheep.

We visited this restaurant for brunch on a busy Saturday before a local football match and were worried about a long wait. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the efficient staff who kept us informed and the wait was not as bad as we expected. The restaurant appeared to be well managed and the food was delicious too!

Since the birth of our baby boy, my husband and I have been somewhat reluctant to eat out- between breastfeeding and the unpredictable nature of a newborn it feels like there is too much that can potentially go wrong. However, we had grown tired of...our self imposed social isolation and decided to venture out to Portello Lounge for breakfast yesterday morning. Our experience was excellent, the food and drinks were delicious as usual, the service was quick, efficient and friendly and best of all we discovered just how family friendly Portello Lounge is. They are a breastfeeding friendly venue and I felt completely at ease breastfeeding our baby there, especially as I was not the only mother nursing their child. Additionally, they have some of the best baby changing facilities that we have experienced in our short time as parents so far. We will undoubtedly be back for breakfast soon.

I went to this restaurant today for a friend's birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, we received excellent service and the food and drinks were amazing. A special thanks to the staff members Alex and Callum who ensured our experience was unforgettable, even surprising the birthday boy with free shots! I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Came as a family for lunch in early December..also took our puppy as dogs are allowed in. Not a long wait for food. And everything was spot on. Will be back
