Rutherglen Provedore

You can get excellent coffee at this pretty store, opened recently after the prime site was vacant for a bit. Right across from the excellent information centre, this is the obvious place to start your Rutherglen visit. Right now they offer coffee and light meals, as well as local pantry items. In the future they are looking to a liquor license, and using the courtyard. We spent extra time here enjoying the books and magazines.

Had a delicious breakfast here today! The locally made cornbread is divine! And the loose leaf tea is really yummy. It was lovely to sit outside and bask in the sunshine. The service is great and very prompt. Cafe prices are excellent value for money. And it doubles as a gourmet produce store, which is handy. They sell delicious local jerky which I thoroughly enjoyed. All round a great little spot, highly reccomend :

We visited Provedore on a Saturday morning with a few friends and our 1 year old. Excellent local business, we immediately felt like part of the family and the customer service was outstanding! Highly recommend the banana bread but there are also vegan and other healthier options if you're that way inclined. Coffee was great we'll definitely be back!
