Ruth's Chris Steak House - S San Diego

The service by Ron and Megan was impeccable. They were friendly and professional and very attentive to our table. A few steaks came out more done than ordered but the handled it well and the food quality was as amazing as usual. Our service definitely contributed the most to this 5 star review

The food and drinks were excellent. The views of the bay were relaxing and made for a good backdrop . Our waiter was friendly, and professional, however the service was less efficient that I'm accustomed to from Ruth Chris.

I've been going to Ruth Chris for a long time, but it is recently gone downhill. Our waiter was not very friendly. My steak was not cooked right neither was my husband's. Usually the waiter is extremely nice, but this one was not friendly at all will not be going anytime soon

We went to ruth because we had a gift certificate. We had gone to the roots in Del Mar and they completely messed up our order. It was busy so I wasn't upset at all, but they were kind enough to give us a gift certificate so we decided we would go to the one in San Diego, and they completely messed up the food again my boyfriend ordered and medium rare and it was medium. I ordered a medium steak in mine was well done. They were very kind. They took the steaks off the tab, but I mostly want to say that our server, Mary was literally the sweetest thing she was so kind she reminded me of a little pixie. She had a glitter headband. She had glitter eyeshadow. She had the most amazing personality so I just wanted to give a shout out to Mary, the server at ruth Chris in San Diego you all are lucky enough to have her as your server. She's great our food not so much but Mary was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Ruth's Chris. The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. The food and drink were amazing!!!!! I had a steak which was cooked to perfection with an exquisitely tender lobster tail and a Lemon drop cocktail. The food was sizzling hot and the drink was as delicious as I imagined a lemon drop tastes. My only complaint is I wish there were bigger portions.
