Sushita is a Japanese fusion food truck located just south of City Heights and is quite possibly some of the best food I've had from a food truck. Their menu features different appetizers, sushi rolls, hand rolls, nigiri sashimi, different bowls, salads and ramen. Not only is it all super yummy, but it's all extremely affordable for the quality of the food. I honestly loved everything I tried but my favorite had to be the Rock Shrimp Bowl with rock shrimp tempura, roca sauce, krab, avocado and rice. The shrimp were perfectly fried and the flavor of the sauce was perfection! The hibachi was exceptionally tasty, as well. Usually I drown my hibachi in sauce but this hibachi was so good on its own, I didn't even need any sauce at Skip the line with their online ordering!
Staff was very friendly and service was quick. I ordered the Sinaloa roll, crunchy roll, spicy roll, and the garlic edamame and everything was really good. I Will definitely be back.
This is my first time having sushi from a food truck! I actually wasn't even sure they were open since their hours weren't updated on their website, so I called them before heading out. They have quite a few unique menu items, so I took my time in ordering. I ended up getting the sushi stack #2, a spicy yellowtail handroll, a sunset roll, the tuna tiradito, and a mango roll. I took everything home and shared it with my hubby. I enjoyed everything I got, except for the sushi stack. It was a little bit too creamy for me. Everything else was really fresh and tasty though. I'm glad they let me add some flaming hot Cheetos to the mango roll- it definitely had a spicy kick to it. Service was very nice and efficient! I would definitely check them out if you're in area and want some fresh and fast sushi!
I like this little place , unfortunately it's only sushi!!! Not a Ta- Tacos even tho it says in the name ... wish they have tacos as well ... sometimes you want a little bit of both ...
