Archer - S Valley Rd, Waurn Ponds

Had a beautiful lunch at the hotel today. Steak was gorgeous, Very generous portions. Staff very pleasant. Clean and very enjoyable. We’ll be back. Thx Archer Staff

Food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. Cute little kids corner. Could use a freshen up.

Everything was better than expected. Breakfast was included in the good price during the peak season. The fairly spacious and well-managed outdoor pool was also satisfactory. It 's a suitable accommodation for holiday in 'Jervis bay '. However, one regret is that road pavement in the hotel needs to be improved. So I took out a star from 5.

I would have to say I’m pleasantly surprised at how much my husband and I enjoyed our overnight stay at Night Cap The Archer. Beds were very comfortable, not the usual two singles taped together which was fantastic. Great water pressure in the shower- we couldn’t stop talking about the shower- and the rooms were clean and spacious. All staff were beyond friendly and we also enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant.

Basic pub decor leads you to believe the food might just be on the ordinary side but the food was excellent and truly the best I've had in a while. Piping hot with good sized portions and fresh vegies. Lamb's fry for myself and sirloin for my son. Was trying out before deciding to book for Christmas lunch which we now have. All five of us. Staff were friendly, helpful and available.
