We stayed a whole week in Sa Pobla and loved the variety of restaurants. We visited this place twice: we had the sepia and calamares a la plancha. It was delicious. Next time we called in advance to order the paella, also nice but the sepia was our favourite. The red house wine is very good as well. The owners are friendly and helpfull. They are authentic, without fringes, they won't play a role. We noticed local people like to frequent this place. The more negative reviews don't do this place justice.
The first impressions from the outside are not perfect. It was a bottle difficult in that the owner speaks no English, embarrassingly we spoke hardly any Spanish. But we managed to order ok. The good news is that the food was excellent. In our opinion the best in Sa Pobla. Only downside beer pricy for the area at 6 euros. Grilled shrimp excellent 7 huge) . Lamb chops also a generous portion. Perfectly cooked.
Nice place with cooling and a tv so you dont get bored. Nice staff with great humor and overall an amazing place!
Dirty eating area, very rude owner/server, very basic menu that did not have the seafood advertised both in its name and on its menu, we felt very uncomfortable and cannot find anything complimentary to say. Not many people eating here on the day of our visit, but they clearly did not enjoy the experience either. The reviews that I see here do not ring true. Avoid at any cost!
