Texas Roadhouse - Saginaw

Food was delicious but the music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation with anyone at the table. Never filled our glasses or offered more rolls.

All around bad experience.Appetizers were served after the entree. With an excuse that the deep fryer was down? (Yet tables next to us were receiving their apps and onions? Both steaks were not properly cooked. One was significantly over and the other significantly under.The apps were comped when brought to the attention of the server. (We were using a coupon for a free app anyway, so...not really comped.

My wife myself and our cousin ate today at your location. On the way home from the casino in Standish we thought we would have a nice meal and since it was Sunday we thought we should do call ahead seating over your website but it indicated only a 5 to 10 minute wait. So we did not use call ahead seating option. Imagine our surprise when we got in your restaurant to have a 15-20 minute wait. Due to the packed situation they finally sat us in a booth next to the bar area. We ordered and then our cousin ordered and also ordered a take out for another family member. I ordered a 16oz sirloin to be cooked medium. When it came our server didn't ask me to cut into my steak. I found it to be extremely dry and half was done correctly but dry but the other half was over cooked. I put those well done pieces aside and when we asked for the check and boxes I mentioned that my steak was over cooked pointing to my plate and he didn't even acknowledge my statement or even say sorry. He also was more interested in making mixed drinks and never offered to refill our water, not once. He did refill our dinner rolls. Then I had to approach the bar to get to-go bags for our take out boxes that he said he would bring and when I handed him my check and cash with only a 15% tip I told him I usually tip 20% or more but since he lacked the ability to at least apologize for my poorly cooked steak I didn't he just looked at me. I will not come back to Texas Roadhouse in Saginaw and IF I dine at a Texas Roadhouse elsewhere I will be sure NEVER to sit in the bar area. POOR SERVICE BAD STEAK

Really rough experience here today. Rude staff and absolutely no patience from them. Wait time was horrendous and wait time for food was worse!!!! Our party was sat separately in two different tables not even able to interact with them. Food came out cold and tasted pretty bad for the price that was paid to dine there and not being able to actually interact or sit with our family as one! The music was crazy loud today and I couldn’t hear anything being said.

Food great as always, but what I really wanted to highlight was my server A_____ (edited for privacy). I had a fussy 6 year tonight, who wasn’t happy having to wait, lol. I had already picked out a ribeye from the case while we waited. Well when our server A_____ came to the table and they didn’t have crayons for the kids menu, she gave us a pen. Then Theodore had already finished all the math problems by the time our drinks came back. She wrote out some fun math problems for him. He did those and she brought another set of ones a little harder. He was so excited solving them and couldn’t wait to show to his older brother and teacher.A night without electronics and he was giddy trying to finish them before she came back.I asked if she was in school to be a teacher, as she would probably make a great one. But she said to be a pediatric nurse. Which from how I could tell she interacted with my son, even on a busy Saturday night, I think she’ll be a great one.TRH, I hope you appreciate staffers like this, as they make all the difference.Kid-friendliness: My server was excellent and engaged with my son.
