EL Jaliciense - Saint Anthony

Small town with only a few restaurants. The food was good and inexpensive. They serve bottled beer with various domestic choices and some Mexican. That's inexpensive, too. Staff tries really hard and is nice. However, they're uncoordinated, disorganized, and at times in a state of confusion. Hope they get it together soon! We were waited on by 4 different staff members, and only one seemed to have things straight. Chips and salsa were meh. Bean dip was quite good! This all comes free. In good case, we had to ask for it twice. With other tables, it came long after their entrees were delivered. Had the tacos carbon and enjoyed it. Large portion. Very messy to eat the tacos, though, as they were buried under lettuce, beans, guacamole, etc. Pouring on hot sauce really gave it a good flavor. Seated right away. Free parking in a large lot. Think Americanized Mexican. Cuisine is not authentic. Expect slow service and allow extra time. Dietary restrictions: They gladly removed dairy from my dishes Parking: There is plenty of parking there and at the hotel next door.

It was my first time dining there, and it was fabulous! We were greeted, sat, and had our drinks within 5 minutes. Our food, once we ordered, came out in about 10 minutes. It was fabulous!! I will definitely be dining there again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

Ww came in for an early dinner at about 4:30 on Saturday, 9/16. The food was great! Very authentic. Unfortunately, the service was not good. Honestly, I felt intentionally neglected because we were white. I only say that because I watched how our waitress treated her other tables. That aside, I would come back for the delicious food.
