Especially considering the many other breakfast spots in the area, like Eggsquis and Ben Florentine. This Tutti Frutti seems like a lesser version of Chez Cora. The interior is outdated, the staff is older, the coffee is weak, and the menu is uninspiring. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any redeeming qualities here. I hope they renovate and step up their game, because at this price point, you could just go to McDonald's next door.
I went to this restaurant on a Sunday morning and the service was extremely slow. They were busy and had only one waitress who mentioned it was her first day, so I can't blame her. The food was average and the water/coffee tasted off, as if it had been used to wash dishes. This wasn't the first time I experienced this, so I wouldn't recommend going there if you're in a rush. I would suggest avoiding this place altogether.
The standout item at this restaurant is the cheddar pancake. I wasn't very impressed by the other pancake options. They could improve their coffee selection as well, as their current offerings are only average at best.
I wouldn't necessarily avoid this place, but I doubt I'll come for brunch here again. Mostly considering the variety of other breakfast restaurants in the area, including Eggsquis and Ben
Went there Sunday morning on Fathers Day, and the service was incredibly slow. They had a packed house, and only 1 waitress that told us it was her first day (So I don't blame her at all.) The food was mediocre, and the water/coffee tasted like they washed their dishes in it. I've been there a few times before and it was the exact same thing. Don't go there if you are in a rush. I would avoid this place altogether.
