The Refectory At St. Davids

After visiting the magnificent cathedral and the remains of the archbishop's palace, going to the refectory it is possible to relax while enjoying the dishes offered while observing the cathedral

Arrived just before closing abd they kindly found food for is.

Lovely coffee and cake. Excellent exhibition pieces on the walls. Service slow, although they did apologise. My major gripe is with the service staff's filthy clothes/aprons. For that reason only I wouldn't return

Just bought lamb cawl here the size of a coffee cup. There were two pieces of lamb in it and it was full of carrots and a few potatoes. Absolutely disgusting. What a rip off. Don’t spend money in here.

Sign up the top of the hill said opening times of refectory being open, also online opening hours said it would be open. It was 2pm on a Saturday. Walked all the way there and it was closed! Receptionist said they had had no customers so has closed at 1pm. They could at least put a sign at the top of the hill to save peoples legs
