Cantine de la mer - Saint-Fabien

I waited in line for an hour, but it was worth it. The lobster roll was so filled with meat that you couldn't even see the bun!

The poutine we ordered was enormous and delicious. Great value and great food.

This restaurant is the unique spot in the area, so they don't put in extra effort. The food is satisfactory but slightly overpriced. However, the standout feature is the friendly staff. I overheard one of the cashiers informing a customer that they only accept cash, not cards, just like the previous day.

The restaurant offers delicious seafood dishes at a great price. Be sure to give them a try!

I want to find myself on local, non-French places like this in the hope to find something else; this was the case here! it is something like a fast food seafood place, with a very beautiful outdoor area with pergola and mister eating! I've only ever seen. nest in arizona and vegas, so this was a pleasant surprise given the recent heat wave in quebec. eating was standard greasy spoon with seafood options that contain lobster, crabs and fish chips! we enjoyed it very much and the cost were about the same as their typical mickey dee’s or bk. I will never know if some or some of the seafood are local, but it has tasted well!
