I also appreciated that the menu was different each time, and it was no issue that I spoke English. One evening, they served fondue, while another night was a seafood buffet. This restaurant is suitable for families and couples as well.
I recently tried the walleye almondine at this restaurant and was pleased with the presentation and side dishes. The establishment offers a great variety of local beers and the service is exceptional.
The service was very diligent and courteous, and $33 for a 4-course meal is not a bad price to pay so we can't complain, but the food was very uneven. Tasty appetizers, disappointing main courses: cafeteria-level roast pork, seafood tortellini advertised as having shrimp and scallops but actually mostly filled with imitation crab. Desserts were also mediocre. If you're looking to avoid American chains, give it a try. If you're looking for a true dining experience with inventive dishes made from local ingredients, look elsewhere.
Tried the walleye almondine, which was nicely done with nice accompaniments. They still have a good selection of local beer, and service is excellent.
Une très bonne cuisine nos plats étaient bon et copieux et pour les enfants les menus était aussi pas mal.
