Mikes Restaurant

I suspect that the reviews for this restaurant were written by the owners or their friends. My recent lunch experience there was terrible; the food was cold and nearly inedible, and the elderly waitress who served us seemed extremely unhappy and unfriendly. My husband and I both used the bathrooms upon our arrival and were appalled at how dirty they were. We almost left then and there (we should have). The overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including the floors, was also very poor. With so many dining options in St. Jean, there is no reason for anyone to eat at this place.

I recently dined at Mike's Restaurant in St Jean sur Richelieu ( across from LSM) and had a great lunch experience. The food was very good and served nicely at a reasonable price, although on the higher side. However, considering the quality of the ingredients, it was definitely a good value, especially since beverages were included. The Caesar salad was delicious, the French fries were tasty, and the soup was fantastic. I ordered the huge VG sub and it did not disappoint, while the Bambino Pizza was also very flavorful. The total cost for lunch for three people was $35. The decor could use some updating, especially the lamp shades. The restaurant is easy to access and has ample parking.

I swear to you that lunch (canteen farmers) will fill you with the stomach until dinner and that you don't shake disappointed as well as lunch pizzas and all of it with a smiling and courteous service.

Service very slow, the waitress didn't know the menu well, several errors in orders, spaghetti primavera with broccoli past date, the spaghetti that dipped in oil!!!!!!!!!

Whenever you are in Saint-Jean sur Richelieu, Mikes Tratoria is one of the best restaurants in the area. Easy of access, free parking and the food is excellent. The service is also equal to the food that is served and the portions are quite generous. If you are a light eater, you will not finish your plate.
