Steak Frites - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

We went out for dinner to celebrate my son's graduation. The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. We ordered steak with blue cheese, filet mignon, and steak kabobs, and all were cooked perfectly.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I frequent it often and am never let down. The staff is fantastic, especially Steve who greets everyone with such enthusiasm. Not to mention, I can enjoy my favorite wine with their delicious steak frites. Highly recommend Steak Frites St. Paul on St. Jean in Richelieu!

Really nice restaurant in St Jean-Sûr-Richelieu, I had the duck and my colleague the steak and both we had the French fries all you can eat that are really the star of the place, I lived in Belgium for some years that claims to have invented them and these are on par with what you can find over there, really worth the trip on their own. Everything else that we had was also very good with a special notion for an extremely tasteful Lemon and spinach ! sorbet. For me the only negative point of the place is the lack of wine/beer, I know you can bring your own but I don’t really like that.

Great service and food was good recommend salmon tartare! Owner was very helpful and made sure we were completely satisfied!

Celebrated here with my family. Good location lots of free parking. Older to mixed crowd seeking great food. So were we... Ordered the standards, Cesar salad to start then their signature steak avec fries. Salad was room temperature with pedestrian dressing and shredded white cheese. Steak was tender but not medium as I ordered. French Fries were damp and warm. Not dry crispy and hot like their downtown location. Overall you won’t waste your money but you won’t be wowed either. Not recommend.
