La Grange Morin Heights

Nice presentation but portions were child like size for the value of your money. Bavette was not marinated (flavorless meat) and coated in sauce like it was an afterthought. Not a redo when there are so many other restaurant to choose from that are willing to take care and satisfy their customers...

Decor is beautiful but with those kind of prices you know that you are paying for it big time! Food selection is limited.

I was fortunate to have two dinners at this location. One with a friend and the other with a large group and both times the food exceeded our expectations! We worked with Chantal for the group and they delivered an unbelievable meal that had everyone raving and wanting to go back! We will definitely be back if we come back to the area!

We have driven past this restaurant many times and had been wanting to try it for a long time, but many times found it closed. The inside is rustic and quite nice, but it was hard to to figure the theme as the place settings were high quality, the menu extensive and the kitchen, which we could see, was as big as the restaurant, but the furniture was ok and the decorations country. The food was good, a bit pricey. We noticed there is also a second floor eating area. The place filled up quickly around 7pm and was full with a mix of retired people on the main floor and what seemed like a younger crowd in the loft area upstairs. The service seemed odd and a bit slow; we were served by three or four waitresses, none with a specific duty and it seemed so seeing them serve the other tables. Must be confusing for them but they did not mix up our order! The reception when we arrived and throughout or meal was lukewarm, not very welcoming. it gave the impression the restaurant had been opened for a week. Live entertainment include a talented folk singer, though the sign above her said rock bar. I would have given 4 starts if people had a smile on their face.

The staff welcomes you with a smile, service and food is excellent. A musician is on the spot and makes you hear some known airs. this restaurant is quite recommendable
