Criterion Hotel - Sale

Being Mother’s Day, all mothers were made feel very special when greeted by Chad with a glass of bubbles. What a lovely touch that set the scene for an enjoyable experience. The set menu was very tasty, service and wait staff were friendly and attentive. Overall hubby and I had another relaxed and enjoyable lunch. Thanks to the whole team.

We had a great time at the Cri, welcomed by Chad who seated us at our favourite table and attended to us with a lovely familiarity, knowing what we usually drink and recommending drinks and meals we might enjoy. Which created a really great experience. There are some new staff learning the ropes, and it was nice to see how they are settling into their roles. The food was pretty good too. We love the Cri and will definitely be back.

Booked online for a Sunday. Received a booking confirmation the day before only to turn up on the day and find the hotel closed. When I called the hotel number I was told by a staff member that the hotel had not been open on a Sunday for two months. Another couple of guests, who had also made an online booking, turned up whilst I was on the phone. The staff member said that the booking system should not have allowed us to book on that day. If that was the case surely we are not the first two bookings to be in this situation? Guess what... I can book a table for this coming Sunday! Criterion Hotel you need to improve your game as this would never have happened under previous management.
