I would recommend this place to a local person who wanted to try Korean-like flavors. Not recommended for someone with extensive experience with Korean food. The staff here is great, and I believe the owner is doing great work at making her business work in small town Kansas. That said, this food doesn't have what makes Korean food great. It's bland, doesn't have spice, and seems more like American style Chinese than real Korean. The other customers sure looked happy though. Four stars becau … – show
Sooo delicious. Smelled good when I walked in, thanks in part to the open kitchen. I quickly glanced around and it seemed clean, which is very important. Foodwise, I got the Seoul Sampler and it was very flavorful and filling. Rice and noodles were included, and some sides were self serve. I have stopped here over the years on the way to Colorado.this year was shockingly disappointing. The japchae rolls were dripping grease and burnt. The fried noodle with shrimp must have been old~ the noodles were mushy and broken, the shrimp was cooked into tiny rubber pucks. Worst of all, no flavor, just bland, badly prepared food. I have been to Pusan, Korea and can attest this food is a travesty. Not going back.
Must have caught them on a bad night. Not sure what the deal was but we had 4 take out and 2 dine in orders get their food before we got ours when we ordered before them all. Waited for 30min. Staff seemed a bit confused in the kitchen. Kept shuffling around our order, apparently. Didn't even get anything crazy from the menu. Everyone else got their food pretty quick. Food was ok, at best. Sated the desire for bulgogi but I'd be willing to drive an hour to find something…anything…better.
