El Pollo Loco - Salinas

The chicken at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, always cooked perfectly and falls off the bone. The service is fast and friendly, and they even took two dollars off my order when I had to wait a long time to be served.

The customer service at this restaurant was awful. They did not have enough chicken to fulfill my order, and they tried to charge me extra because they had to use a mixed choice that I did not ask for. I was given the option to pay extra or wait an hour for my order. This experience was not worth the time or money.

I went to el pollo loco I asked for a 16 piece and they said they didn?t have it when it was on the menu.One of the workers asked me if I wanted a 12 and a 8 I said yes. She ended up giving me two of the 8 pieces.I told them I just wanted one of the 8 piece and the manager came and she was really mad when she returned my money she told me ?don?t do that again ? When it wasn?t my error....they should get a more respectful manager lol

I ordered food online and brought it home. The tacos had very little chicken, it seemed like they forgot to add it. The shells were almost burnt and fell apart easily. When I asked for a refund, the manager asked us how our tacos were and said they don't do refunds for online orders. He tried to contact someone but they didn't pick up, so nothing was done. It was surprising that the manager didn't know how to refund, but I guess every place is different. This experience has definitely made me decide not to return to this restaurant.
