I joined some colleagues sitting outside in Butcher Row for a light lunch they 'd ordered 5 minutes ahead of me. I popped inside to ask about adding my sandwich Coke to the open order and was rudely barked at by a very serious member of staff she said it 's table service! , ushering me back outside. Yet before I 'd even sat down to receive this 'table service ' I get a what do you want!? I ordered my sandwich drink but felt my first encounter with the staff member was unnecessarily unfriendly and unwelcoming. Also, I could not see any signs outside indicating table service. The food was good, delivered by another (friendly) staff member, but I 'm afraid I 'm not inclined to go back.
The food/drink are brilliant, prices are fair, location is great, but the service was very slow. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cake Selection
Had a wonderful brunch here of eggs benedict and the smoked salmon and a skillfully presented mocha. Very nice place with relaxed and welcoming service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Smoked Salmon
Visited for brunch, unfortunately wasnt the same experience as when we last visited. We had two cooked breaskfasts which were both barely warm. The egg was undercooked and inedible and the bacon so hard as if it had already been cooked and just re heated. The service was good hence the 2 stars(and not giving 1). Will not be returning Service: Dine in
I’m not even joking I think that was in my top five most delicious sausage baps I’ve ever had. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30
