I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a reasonable price. There was a live band playing on Thursday night, adding to the atmosphere. The outdoor dining area was a lovely spot to relax. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We used to work at a local pub in Salmon Arm. It was a cozy spot with good food and friendly staff. However, things have changed. The pub now feels like a generic chain restaurant, lacking the charm it once had. The new interior is dull and lacks any ambiance. The menu has also been revamped to mimic trendy corporate restaurants, with fancy dishes served in small baskets. The food has become average at best. It seems like they forgot to consider their loyal customers when making these changes. Unfortunately, they have lost us as customers. Keith S.

In January 2022, we placed an order in advance and our food was ready in about 20 minutes. We enjoyed baby back ribs, a BLT sandwich with onion rings, and lasagna. While all dishes were very good, the portion sizes were a bit small. The cheesecake was probably the best I've ever had. Overall, it was a good experience.

When we arrived, the server gave us a head-up that a large office party arrived shortly, so we got our orders quickly. And indeed, we got our meals in time and had no subsequent problems with the service. She had Cajun chicken penne and I had a queen. Both were fine. That with a few pints of beer and a tea came about $56 including taxes, but at the top. Two points about the meal. At first, the portions were very significant, so we certainly not hunger again. Secondly, the vegetable beef soup that came as a side did not seem to have much on the way of beef in it. Overall we were satisfied and will be back. Tip: The pub is located on two local bus routes, so if you want to avoid drinking and driving for lunch, this is quite possible.

I realize they are short staffed, no problem, I understand. Got our beer promptly and was told our order would follow shortly. Half hour later, apology and our food would be right out. 15 minutes more passes, still no food but ; other tables that...arrived later were served. Asked if our food was on its way yet and was told about ten more minutes. Charged us for our beer and left, can’t review the food because we never saw any on our table!!
