Oriental Sweets Chaikhona - Samarqand

Very nice and cozy place, sitting in the garden with my family was beautiful. Good plov, lagman and salad. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Really good value for money! Repeated.

Atmospheric historical courtyard with large tea and coffee

One of the few restaurants in Samarkand with very tasty vegetarian options. We had Sorrelsuppe, Lawash with green and cheese, and Samsa with Courgettes / zucchini. If you are tired of green and black tea, we recommend the one with local herbs.

We came here for an afternoon tea and enjoyed it very much. The beautiful courtyard gives it a nice ambiance. The restaurant has got European style coffee and some delicious local desserts. We haven't tried their food yet but the place seems to be popular among tourists (not overly crowded).
