Abbey's Real Texas Bar-B-Q

Thank you SO much for the generosity! First of all their brisket is DELICIOUS! Perfect balance of crispy and tender. I'm a coleslaw girl, and it wasn't too soggy or tangy, my kind of slaw. Their cornbread is basically dessert, do it! I've been back twice, and had their sausage, chicken sandwiches, ribs, beans and okra. No matter what meat you get, you can't go wrong! Their beans had spice rather than the sweetness in used to.

TALK ABOUT AMAZING BBQ!! You cannot get anything better in the area. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the meats are KICKIN!! We ordered a little bit of everything the barbecue brisket, the burnt ends, the ribs and the links. First, this barbecue is amazing. The smokey taste is strong and powerful. The meat is tender and the brisket pulls apart so easily. The meat did not need sauce as they are 11/10 without it. We also received the potato salad, corn on the cob and cornbread. The potato salad is a must for everyone when they go. It is tasty!!! I am a corn on the cob fan! There are other barbecue places that have dry and crumbly cornbread, but this is different. It melts in your mouth and goes perfectly with the meal.

Overall enjoyed brisket and burnt beef ends, only problem was all the meats even sausage come with bbq sauce smothered on them. So beware when ordering may ask if you can get plain without sauce. BBQ sauce should be left on side instead of on meat. Hookem

Talk about good customer service WOW! Mark passed down food knowledge and was energetic about the business. You could go years without seeing this type of customer service nowadays. They offered me a sample and actually introduced himself and asked me my name. I get servers that don’t mention their names. On top of the customer service the brisket is to die for. I’m all over the country trust me when I say a lot of Texas BBQ joints aren’t nearly as good. Great texture/Bark seasoning and juicy come get you some seriously. I could only guess this is the best or one of the top BBQ spots in the area.

We were driving in Miramar and we were hungry, I told my wife to start looking for something to eat. She saw a sign that said BBQ and told me to turn in the next driveway. This was a great find!! We got the family platter with 1/2 pulled pork and 1/2 brisket! The meat was smoked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious!! We live in Lemon Grove and we'll definitely be making the drive to come here again!! Amazing meat, great staff, delicious sides and worth every penny!! Thank you Mark!! We'll see you soon!!
