Memphis Minnie's BBQ - San Andreas

While we were in San Francisco on Haight Street we tried an awesome BBQ joint called Memphis Minnie’s. Their BBQ tasted AMAZING. Everything on their menu looked totally delicious. If your ever in San Francisco and want great BBQ give Memphis Minnie’s a try you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Thursday and Friday's specials are my favorite; the fried chicken sandwhich and their specialty burger. The fried chicken sandwich is perfect as is and you have to try the burger with the mustard they serve on the side. Delicious. And seating available indoor and outdoor.

Good price vs. quality. There are two bbq restaurants walking distance so they have to make good meat. Sauces are too deluted. But that’s common as a cost saving measure.

Best mac n cheese in the city, hands down. While the pulled pork is tender and tasty, 80% of the reason I order a meal is for the mac n cheese. Their cornbread is delicious too. Great comfort food. A sandwich, a side of mac, and cornbread fills me up every time. Great vibe too looking forward to returning in person. As a PSA they do have outdoor seating during COVID though I’ve only gotten takeout since the shutdown.

Beef brisket was moist and tender. And hot. Baked beans aren’t as good as other smokehouses but still worth a try. Half an hour walk from the city center or a 15 muni ride away. Would go back again given the opportunity.
